1-Agglomenrated
Whey Protein Isolate
has a high proportion of branched chain amino acids and
provides an excellent fuel source for the horse
preparing for competition. Equines involved in strenuous
activity need more proteins and amino acids to help the
body repair and rebuild muscle tissue. Unlike other
amino acids that metabolize directly into the liver, the
branch chain amino acids found in whey protein
metabolize directly into muscle tissue.
Agglomerated
whey protein isolate provide energy to the body and
boosts the immune system. Whey prevents bone loss. A
daily diet that includes the recommended amount of whey
isolate can keep bones healthy and strong as the horse
ages. Our

2-Creatine
monohydrate
is composed of three amino acids; arginine, glycine and
methionine and is technically known as methylguanido.
The main purpose behind creatine supplementation is to
provide the energy to allow a muscle to contract more
intensely, for longer durations and more frequently.
During a race, the muscles require tremendous amounts of
immediate energy. This energy is made available
primarily from Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP). Although
the need for ATP may increase one thousand fold during
intense exercise, ATP can only be stored in the muscles
in extremely small quantities. For maximal muscle work
to occur, then, ATP needs to be replentished constantly
during muscle work. Creatine acts as the primary
resupplier of ATP levels for high intensity races.
During muscle contractions, ATP is hydrolysed to
Adenosine Diphosphate (ADP). Creatine regenerates ATP
levels by breaking down and lending the phosphate. Creatine
supplementation improves anaerobic muscle
performance, adds strength, facilitates recovery and
increases sprint speed. Creatine also act as a lactic
acid buffer and help to increase endurance during the
race.

Chromium
is a spray dried whole cell yeast of saccharomyces
cerevisiae complexed with chromium. The natural yeast
fermentation process is supplemented with necessary
controlled levels of Chromium. The yeast cream is then
pasteurized to obtain highest possible quality. Organic
chromium is an essential trace mineral. The efficacy of
a chromium supplement is based on bioactivity. Organic
bound chromium carries superior bioavailability as
compared to chromium picolinate and chromium chloride.
Organic bound chromium is also superior to the chelated
forms of chromium. Amino acid chelates of chromium are
unreacted inorganic chromium salts and such cannot be
considered efficacious. Chromium supplements other than
organic bound (polynicotinate and nicotinate) have not
been proven to convey the full benefits of chromium,
particularly in insulin potentiation. Chromium is known
to promote insulin activity and enhance carbohydrate
metabolism in animals. The primary function of insulin,
a hormone produced in the pancreas, is to regulate blood
glucose levels. An important component of glucose
tolerance factor, chromium works to promote interactions
between insulin and corresponding receptors in body
cells. Insulin activity enhances the ability of cells to
absorb glucose from feed ingredients and convert it to
energy that fuels protein synthesis, lean tissue
(muscle) growth and cellular maintenance, including
reproductive systems. Chromium is known to activate
enzymes, maintain protein stability and enhance
carbohydrate metabolism.
