Solublock LS is an improved biological product, specifically formulated and packaged for use in sumps containing hydrocarbons.

To assure optimal performance of these organisms, under the toughest conditions, they are produced and blended together with “high potency” nutrients and stimulants.

SLOW RELEASE = disperses bacterial product as it dissolves!

Solublock LS also contains specialty penetrants and surfactants, which loosen and liquefy heavy grease deposits, thereby assisting in their biodegradation.

How long will it last? Application experience has shown that in pumping stations with an average flow of 500,000 gpd, the Solublock LS should last from 30 to 40 days.

Applications Instructions: Add the Solublock directly to the lift station.

1. When locating the Solublock in the sump, DO NOT place Solublock directly into the flow of incoming waste. The turbulance and “washing effect” will greatly reduce the longevity of this product. Ideally, the Solublock  should be placed in a less turbulant area of the sump, but not in a dead spot.

2. Solublock should be suspended in the sump so that it is always submerged in water, even at the lowest water level. This will assure maximum contact time with the organics providing superior results.

3. If a grease shelf is present during placement of Solublock, it is recommended to raise the high level flow so that the bacteria can attack the grease shelf from the top, bottom and sides.

4. Results should be obtained in four to eight weeks from the time of application. If grease shelves are present at the time of application, a longer period of time may be required to obtain results.

Dosage rate will vary with flow rates, retention times and oil accumulation. This rate is for a typical industrial sump or pit.
